Coordinate further with the development and field teams for manageable work items and incremental success.The requires a combination of modern cloud native skills combined with a deep understanding of legacy software deployments to ensure that our customers can continue to achieve value from their legacy investments as the move into the future.Core ResponsibilitiesOperate independently across Engineering domains, reporting to Head of R&DDirect R&D teams on standard tactics across functional domainsWork directly with customer to drive modernization and enhance modernization experienceParticipate in R&D cross functional teamsCross-Team and Management ReportingThe Cloud Architects Communications skills are crucial to ensure inter-team dependencies communication and to share and migrate productivity risks. The candidate is responsible for raising information to enable management by exception and is accountable for their peers dialogue within their “ART”.Customer EngagementOur business success is driven by our customers and, in turn, by their success. To ensure our products solve our customer's challenges, we continually iterate on our solutions, asking our customers for their feedback.The Cloud Architect will work with their product management and field peers, creating opportunities to visit customers and observe users in their environment whenever possible.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in CS/IS/EE   15+ years’ experience with 5+ focused on cloud native technologies (K8’s)Candidate must have the legal right to work in the USHands on experience with at least one of the following CA Technologies: SiteMinder, Layer 7, Application Performance Management, Test Data Management, Service Virtualization Hands-on experience using IaC software tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, GCP Cloud Deployment Manager etc) and CI/CD tools (IDEs, GitLab, GitHuB, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform configuration and administration of security features and services (including identity and access management, networking, firewalls, encryption)Background in security domain, cloud security highly preferred with a focus on open standards (OAuth, Open Id, SAML, SCIM, OPA, Open Telemetry)Understanding of container and container orchestration technologies such as VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShiftDemonstrating proven knowledge related to Cloud Management Platforms, Virtualization Strategies, Automation and Orchestration Strategies, Public Cloud Platforms, Cloud Capacity/Performance Optimization, and Application Migrations to a Cloud Platform with a clear understanding of how an IT organization capitalizes upon technology to enable the business;Working knowledge and skills in cloud container services (e.g. GKE, EKS, AKS), storage services (e.g. EBS), and database services (e.g. RDS); digital or infrastructure deployments that includes managing projects related to highly virtualized solutions, digital convergence, outsourcing or systems integrations, network engineering, and cybersecurity;Additional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $132,000  - $220,000 This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
