At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on!  THE JOB  GLC Live at 20 Monroe is seeking and Cleaning & Sustainability Team Supervisor. This person will train and manage the overnight cleaning team per event, oversee venue’s sustainability efforts, and have some administrative responsibilities such as hiring and scheduling.   WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO  Primarily, participate in cleaning the venue and overseeing the overnight cleaning crew. Keep work areas, storage closets, and mop closets neat and orderly. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and ensure good working order. Working knowledge of floor scrubbing equipment preferred. Ensure that each area’s cleaning is complete and verify staff checklists.  Verify correct cleaning products are used per task.  Comply with all safety regulations and ensure the team is as well. Reset the venue and its assets for the following day or event.  Ensure trash is properly disposed of.  Drive sustainability efforts by committing to and executing recycling program.  Light laundry assistance such as bath towels, mop heads, and cleaning rags.  Secure the venue at the end of the shift. Secondarily, assist management with building and maintaining the team. Interview candidates on an as-need basis.  Personally train new team members on an as-need basis.  Schedule the team on a monthly basis. Deep clean areas of the venue during the day a few hours each week, dependent on show schedule. Take weekly inventory of cleaning products and communicate needs to Operations team. Take notes of any damage to the venue (must have good attention to detail) and communicate with the operations team. Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean and presentable to the guest. Must be able to make small repairs around the venue on an as-need basis.  Must be able to lift up to 35lbs. Must be able to be on a ladder 6 to 10 ft. high. Additional tasks as requested by management.   WHAT YOU’LL BRING High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Three or more years in cleaning services or related type work preferred. Experience leading teams of people.  Computer literate. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Level-headed sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy. Must have reliable personal transportation or access to the public transportation system.  Must be able to work overnight.  Must have flexible availability as event schedule varies per month.  Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs and occasional sitting, lifting and carrying 35 lbs.+
