Portfolio PlannerDescription -This position is within the Consumer Services and Solutions (CSS) Strategic Planning & Operations Team and will play a critical role in all aspects of Strategic Portfolio Planning. The Consumer Services and Solutions (CSS) organization is driving the transformation of HP into a digital brand. Responsibilities include performing program analysis, managing risk, identifying, and influencing necessary course corrections, and communicating program status and roadmap activities across multiple levels of management. Managing risks includes resolving issues that affect release, scope, schedule, and quality through program management. Define and track key metrics and performance indicators for portfolio planning. Continuously assessing and improving the processes that comprise the software development lifecycle are inherent in this role.This role will require close partnership with Engineering, Architecture, Technical Program Management, Product and Business stakeholders and executives.Education and Experience Required:Typically, 7-10 years of relevant experience in program or portfolio planning and managementBachelor’s Degree in a relevant area or 10+ years of demonstrated work experienceTechnical and Functional Skills:Comprehensive experience in developing commercial software products using agile development practices including leading Agile ceremoniesSuperior teamwork and collaboration skills and developed relationship management skillsHands-on experience in influencing and aligning cross functional stakeholdersDemonstrated knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage complex data requests.Expertise managing software development projects from initiation through delivery in a highly matrixed, cross-organizational environment.Hands-on experience with developing and reporting metrics for engineering development.Analytical and problem-solving experiences with large-scale systems.Comprehensive experience with a controlled software release process involving a product lifecycle management tool.Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.Ownership mindset with a high personal accountability to deliver results within required timeframesVery Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detailDeveloped Project management experience skillsHP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:• Dental insurance• Disability insurance• Employee assistance program• Flexible schedule• Flexible spending account• Health insurance• Life insurance Per the Washington statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in that location, at the time of this posting, is $132,840.00 - $162,360.00.
