Job Overview
The Investor Relations Manager will directly support the Head of Investor Relations and work closely with the CFO and other senior leaders to craft and execute the company’s investor relations program. The function sits in the finance organization, with an emphasis on strong cross-functional collaboration with key business partners, including strategy, communications, legal, and other operating team members. Using your communication skills, strong analytical mindset, and knowledge of public company disclosure, you will play an integral role in cultivating trust, confidence, and credibility with investors and analysts, while serving as a strategic advisor to the senior leadership team in fulfillment of Coursera’s long-term mission, impact, and value creation.
Responsibilities
With the Head of Investor Relations and CFO, build and maintain meaningful relationships with shareholders, research analysts, and prospective investors through a proactive communications plan centered on the company’s business strategy, performance goals, financial position, and long-term positioning.
Develop and refine shareholder communication and external messaging, including the creation of quarterly reports, presentations, Q&A, case studies, and more.
Manage Coursera’s IR calendar of events such as non-deal roadshows, conferences, and related speaking opportunities to engage with investors and analysts.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including finance, accounting, strategy, product, communications, and key operational leadership teams to identify, manage, and drive initiatives and metrics closely aligned to long-term company performance.
Provide actionable insights to senior management, including updates on peer company activities, relevant market updates, industry trends, and equity research reports.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of experience in investor relations or related professional experience.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, communications, or related field.
Outstanding financial and investment analysis skills in combination with oral and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize, distill, and share complex information.
Strong knowledge of financial markets, SEC regulations, and public company disclosure best practices.
Demonstrated track record of superior interpersonal skills and diverse business partnership.
Highly organized and skilled at planning, prioritizing, and executing in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA in Business, Accounting or Finance and/or CFA, CPA
Strategic thinker with a track record of contributing to corporate strategy.
Interest in corporate sustainability, ESG, or mission driven organizations.
Experience in the fast-changing technology industry.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $119,200 to $189,600 for all US candidates. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
