Echodyne is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will work closely with our Manufacturing teams to ensure our processes are effective while providing guidance to improve efficiency. Working in this environment allows you to effect change where needed and drive quality in the products we build. Use your experience with quality tools and techniques to improve processes and influence the culture of quality here at Echodyne. RESPONSIBILITIES Resolve manufacturing quality issues through the Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) process   Support manufacturing validation and process failure mode effects analysis   Assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs and ISO 9001 and AS9100 regulations   Represent Quality on various business teams to support product and process improvement.    Develop and implement Manufacturing Quality and reliability requirements and procedures    Analyze data and identify trends in finished products, in-process materials and recommend corrective actions and/or process improvements   Create and maintain Key Performance Indicators in the Manufacturing area   Establish plans for improvement of quality and reliability to meet product objectives and coordinate activities of Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance to implement them   Consult on test equipment selection and failure analysis   Provide direction to other departments to ensure that workmanship standards, acceptance criteria, and general quality policies are met   Provide technical direction to Manufacturing in development of training, certification, audit and other programs in support of manufacturing   REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE Experience with PCBA manufacturing and troubleshooting when working with Design Engineers and Contract Manufacturers   Experience in leading NCR and CAPA investigations by leading a team and driving file closure   Custom metal machined parts experience, including dimensional tolerances   Extensive experience providing reviews of manufacturing test methods and troubleshooting test failures   Ability to apply analytical skills including statistical analysis   Effective communication and technical writing skills   DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE  (Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)   Technical understanding of radar technology with the ability to provide support as it relates to the Quality Engineering    Proficient use of electrical, mechanical or environmental procedures, quality control testing methods and equipment   Demonstrated proficiency in project management with proven leadership skills   Black belt or Green belt in either six sigma or design for six sigma   Strong quality background, CQE preferred   QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline such as electrical, mechanical, process engineering or similar   5 years or more experience in an electronic manufacturing environment   3 years or more experience in Quality Engineering; experience working in a regulated environment such as Aerospace, Medical Device or Bio-Pharma preferred   Ability to manage the work of others to meet deadlines in NCRs, CAPAs and other projects Echodyne’s technology is export controlled by the U.S. Government and we must evaluate an applicant’s eligibility to handle export-controlled information or obtain required Government authorizations.  Therefore, we will ask you as part of the application process to identify whether you are a U.S. Citizen or green card holder, or have asylum/refugee status in the U.S.  WHAT WE OFFER The pay range for this position is $117,500 - $146,880 annually.  Our comprehensive benefits package currently includes: Incentive stock options Excellent medical, dental and vision coverage benefits for employee and family members Unlimited vacation, 12 paid sick days, and 9 paid holidays Company paid disability, life insurance, employee assistance program and travel insurance 401k Plan   All qualified applicants receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, status as a protected veteran or any other characteristic protected by law.
