An overview of this role We're looking for an experienced Staff Program Manager to manage and contribute to cross functional initiatives led by the Security department at GitLab. This role will be responsible for leading key cross functional initiatives across the company, especially focused in the areas of IT/Corporate Security and Identity Access Management (IAM). You’ll contribute directly to the priorities of the Security department by working closely with the Security, IT, Engineering, and Legal teams. Work will span from small self-led projects to managing larger initiatives that span contributions from and/or impact nearly every department within GitLab.  What you’ll do    Independently run small projects overseeing end to end delivery ensuring efficiency and collaboration of impacted stakeholders Program manage larger cross functional initiatives (focused on IT/Corporate Security and IAM), including change management and user adoption Maintain clear and transparent documentation within the GitLab handbook and GitLab issues on Security initiatives, including support for compliance/audit efforts Develop processes to improve efficiency across the division Embody our  CREDIT values in your work Additional core responsibilities of GitLab Security Program Managers .  What you’ll bring  Prior experience as a Security Program Manager Experience working on technical cross functional programs at a larger organization in IT/Corporate Security and IAM Advanced understanding of application, development and infrastructure frameworks Advanced analytical skills for assessing and recommending solutions based on data and research Attention to detail and strong demonstrated written communication skills Ability to learn technical skills including managing our handbook with git Experience collaborating closely with stakeholders across Security, IT, Engineering, and Legal How GitLab will support you Benefits to support your health, finances, and well-being All remote , asynchronous work environment Flexible Paid Time Off Team Member Resource Groups Equity Compensation & Employee Stock Purchase Plan Growth and development budget  Parental leave   Home office support Please note that we welcome interest from candidates with varying levels of experience; many successful candidates do not meet every single requirement. The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of listed locations only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Colorado/Washington pay range $140,000 — $270,000 USD California/Hawaii/New York/New Jersey pay range $140,000 — $300,000 USD Country Hiring Guidelines: GitLab hires new team members in countries around the world.
