Job Requisition ID #24WD76006Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team focused on shaping the future of Factory Design solutions in Autodesk Fusion. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, we are looking for a person who is enthusiastic about delivering innovative web applications targeted at Factory Design and Simulation. In this hybrid role, you will be working on fullstack software development for web applications.Autodesk Fusion is an ecosystem of client and server components, next generation web client, SDK and Cloud services with a variety of integrations with world leading products such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit.ResponsibilitiesYou will lead the design, implementation, testing and maintenance of the applicationProduce clean, effective, secure, maintainable, and well-documented codeEmbrace an event-driven architecture mindset and apply it to software developmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and timelinesUtilize web debugging techniques to troubleshoot and resolve issuesYou will be working on cloud technologies, including AWS services such as S3, OSS, and RDS, for scalable and reliable solutionsYou will be acting as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring the team's adherence to agile principlesYou will be mentoring and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality deliverablesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field6-8 years of industry experience building and delivering robust, performant, and maintainable commercial web applicationsStrong understanding of object-oriented programming principlesProficiency in frontend development such as JavaScript/HTML/CSSProficiency in backend development frameworks such as NodeJS, Django, C++Experience building Progressive Web ApplicationsExperience with database technologies e.g. MySQL, MongoDBExperience with build and CI/CD tools such as JenkinsExperience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services such as S3, OSS, and RDSSolid understanding of event-driven architecture principlesExperience in driving teams and acting as a Scrum MasterExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing prioritiesPreferred QualificationsExperience with WebGL and 3D graphics programmingMasters in Computer ScienceUnderstanding of Discrete Event Simulation#LI-PW1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
