We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Product Manager to lead the development and strategy of next generation Conversational AI product initiatives from 0-1+. In this role, you will be at the forefront of sharping the future of this transformative technology, drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of innovative AI solutions that use generative models to create captivating user experiences across our product lines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of business SMEs, engineers, data scientists, designers, and researchers to develop breakthrough products that push the boundaries of AI and deliver real value to our internal and external users. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 12+ years of experience in product management, with a strong technical background in AI or machine learning. 8+ years of product management experience shipping successful consumer- facing Conversational AI products Solid understanding of deep learning, generative models, and their practical applications. Experience with agile development methodologies and leading cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to break down complex technical concepts into simple terms for diverse audiences. Strong analytical abilities and data-driven decision-making capabilities. Creative thinking and ability to envision new and innovative AI user experiences. Passion for technology and a deep commitment to creating exceptional user experiences. Description Description DEFINE PRODUCT VISION AND STRATEGY: - Identify and capitalize on new opportunities for Conversational and Generative AI within Channel Sales and beyond.. - Develop a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with user needs, market trends, and technological advancements. - Set clear goals and priorities for the AI product portfolio. LEAD CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION - Partner closely with engineering, research, design, and business teams to translate technical possibilities into user-centric products. - Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration across diverse subject areas. - Manage dependencies and prioritize resources effectively. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION: - Own the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to launch and post-launch optimization. - Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform product iterations and improvements. - Create compelling product documentation and presentations for internal and external partners. TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: - Possess a deep understanding of generative AI models, algorithms, and data science principles. - Familiarity with AI/ML model development lifecycle, experience with large language models - Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field and identify relevant technologies for implementation. - Collaborate effectively with technical teams to translate user needs into feasible and impactful solutions. METRICS AND EVALUATION: - Define and track key performance indicators to measure the success of generative AI products. - Conduct data analysis and gather insights to inform future product decisions. - Advocate for data-driven decision making across the organization. Education & Experience Education & Experience MS in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Human Interaction Design or a related technical field.. MBA or equivalent (preferred) Additional Requirements Additional Requirements - Experience in commerce, AI or technical product domains - Successful launch of user facing products powered by generative AI models - Track record of building and launching multiple successful 0-1 new industry first AI powered product or features - Thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment - Strong organizational and leadership skills. - Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Master storyteller. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in product / project management tools and software. - Comfortable building and nurturing new proof of concepts which can evolve into experiences and emerging technology capabilities to be embedded or scaled into broader Channel Sales AI powered products Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $199,800.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
