We are looking for a mid-level macOS Software Engineer to work on next generation content creation applications. Description Description You will need a keen understanding of 2D and 3D applications and an ambition to explore a new world of uncharted possibilities.
You will work closely with artists, UI/UX designers and engineers to define and prove new application concepts and UX paradigms, and solve incredibly challenging and interesting problems.
You'll be in charge to implement new features, work on complex problems, optimize the code, propose solutions and improvements.
You will be responsible of developing and maintaining the foundation of the application in terms of core components and the UI. Such components will possibly be developed as SDKs to be shared with and used by other teams. Education & Experience Education & Experience BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering with focus in Software Engineering, 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, and a track record of successful projects. Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Knowledge in Swift Familiarity with UI frameworks, preferably Appkit, UIKit or SwiftUI Knowledge of 2D/3D tools and content creation pipelines (Maya, Houdini, Photoshop, etc.) Good understanding of OS concepts, including memory management, multi-threading and concurrency Experience in developing 2D or 3D applications/tools or games Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500.00 and $243,300.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
