Drives growth by bringing an aggressive, solution-oriented, disciplined program approach and process to the Channel Organization.ResponsibilitiesThis director position is a global position responsible for overseeing the compliance and governance aspects of the channel partner program around the world, ensuring that the program aligns with the company’s strategic objectives, policies, and regulations and that partners comply with program policiesDuties of this role include developing and implementing compliance and governance frameworks, standards, and procedures for the channel program while aligning with local business guidelines and teamsWorking cross functionally to communicate and enforce program policies inside of Equinix and with partner representativesMonitoring and reporting on the performance and compliance of channel partnersMonitoring and enforcement of Equinix’s execution of the programArticulating business requirements to business process and technical teams to support systems development for measuring and tracking key program elementsConducting audits and assessments of channel partnersProviding training and education to channel partners and internal stakeholders on compliance and governance issuesManaging risks and resolving issues related to the channel programQualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in business, law, finance, or a related field10+ years in channel program management, compliance, governance, or risk managementKnowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting the channel programStrong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in using various tools and systems for compliance and governance purposesExceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills requiredStrong problem-solving and negotiation skillsAbility to conceptualize and sell ideas internallyExcellent time-management and multi-tasking abilitiesInnovation and the ability to gain consensus is necessaryAbility to travel if needed and comply with the company’s travel policiesEquinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
