Senior Technical Consultant (TMS)

Role Details:Should possess proven skills on migrating an enterprise software from on-prem to cloud or from private cloud to a public cloud.Should have exposure to use of Azure tools to aid in the migration process.Candidate will be responsible for assessing the existing solution footprint and complexity and be able to produce a technical migration plan.Candidate should have skill sets to migrate the webserver component from Weblogic to IIS/Apache.Candidate should have depth of knowledge in being able to compare the infrastructure footprint between private cloud vs public cloud – Network architecture, storage latency, IOPS, standard integration methodologies.It is desirable to have a candidate who has worked on oracle to SQL server migration. Candidate should be able to manage the architecture challenges from migrating to SQL + data migration issues.Candidate should possess knowledge of batch scheduling tools used in Azure.Candidate should have thorough knowledge of integration options with Azure and be able to advise on the Webservices [SOAP, REST etc].Knowledge of MuleSoft, Apache camel, Message Broker etc is an added advantage.Should have good knowledge in the BY TMS products. Should have hands on experience with installing and configuring the product and understand the interactions within various modules.Should have implementation experience on BY TMS products with at least one or two full cycle implementation experience.Candidate should be able to review an existing application set up and perform an assessment for suitability to upgrade.Should have strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of any defect management tool will be an added advantage.Ensures quantity and quality content in the Knowledge base. Should be able to drive a KT and Transition plan effectively.It will be an added advantage to have a candidate with knowledge of incident, problem and change management process.Adheres to priority-based management based on impact + urgency.Knowledge of monitoring tools and technologies [specifically APM tools] will be an added advantage.Our ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
