Join the team and create the future of customer experience together.The Sales Enablement Engagement Manager, Japan has a critical role within the internal field and partner enablement team and is responsible for engaging with key stakeholders, including Japanese partners, building productive relationships as well as creating and deploying enablement assets, programs and initiatives that enable all Genesys and partner sellers and leaders to execute core-aspects of their jobs more effectively, ensuring positive sales performance.The Sales Enablement Engagement Manager for Japan serves a key role in working cross-functionally to ensure field and partner sales teams have the most relevant and high-yielding sales and product enablement assets and training. This role is ultimately the enablement liaison and adjunct member of their respective stakeholder teams.Key Responsibilities:As a strategic consultant, you will engage with and provide enablement support to your partner and internal sales stakeholders in Japan to uncover needs that enablement ultimately can address. Identify, develop and implement programs that will drive sales execution and influence behavioral change.This role requires you to communicate and work effectively across the broader Enablement Team, and cross-functional teams within Genesys. Your effectiveness in the role will correspond closely with your ability to work with other disciplines on the Enablement Team to achieve success. Specifically, you will be responsible for the following activities:A cadence of regular meetings with stakeholders to identify opportunities for enablement as well as provide critical updates related to product and sales enablement that will maximize the effectiveness of field and partner sales.Work with the broader enablement team, develop and iterate many complex initiatives simultaneously, for both technical and non-technical team members. You must manage deadlines, risk, and communicate effectively.Initiate and lead projects that will bring new enablement (Field Guides, Trainings, live sessions, etc.) to sellers. You will work closely with enablement instructional designers on projects and will execute projects based on documented established best practices – in local language (Japanese). You will incorporate the latest industry and/or technology trends, provide guidance, consulting and expertise for the team and executive leadership.Manage the localization of Partner content management, including translations of existing content and creating new.Build, maintain and deliver quarterly and annual enablement plans for internal and partner stakeholders based on our global enablement plans, measure effectiveness of the plans, and communicate plans and adjust as needed.Provide support to our partners including but not limited to partner program queries, application support, and other related administrative needs.Be an innovative thinker, balanced with an operational focus to implement efficiencies and activate enablement in region. Be creative, identify the roadmap and path forward, and build the go-to-market strategy for your stakeholders. Develop and/or assist with development of new methods and processes for improving program(s) and operations.Ensure the consistent exercise of appropriate judgment, discretion and building of strong relationships with internal collaborators, stakeholders and our direct and partner sales organizations.Lean in and volunteer to assist/participate in team initiatives/projects outside of your role.Travel:  ~10% (key meetings/events + Annual Sales Kickoff)In-Office Requirement:  Remote (or if close to a Genesys office, as required). Work hours: Due to our broader global team and varying time zones, weekly meetings either early or late may be required.Minimum Requirements:Languages: Native/Fluent Japanese and Business level or higher English a must.Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of program management experience, including managing initiatives/work streams.Experience engaging with senior executives and working across internal and external organizations.Strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work with multiple team members and management stakeholders.You should have advanced communication, project and program management, analytical and organizational skills, and a passion and familiarity with organized structured change.Experience working with a Cloud solution (SaaS) company in an enablement role. Experience managing, influencing, negotiating, and communicating with business partners and internal teams on project/program workstreams and performance.Experience working with the technical tools of Sales Enablement such as Asana, Seismic, Lessonly, and must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as other commonly used tools. Please note that Genesys will not accept resumes from agencies at this time.To be eligible to apply for this role you must be legally permitted to work in Japan.#LI-TW1#LI-Remote#LI-HybridIf a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.About Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
