Today, over 1,000 customers use Cobalt to run pentests on demand via Pentest as a Service, AKA PtaaS, a space which Cobalt pioneered (you could even say we wrote the book on it ) and continues to lead.  Description We’re on a mission to hire the very best! With growing demand for our technology and services, we are looking for an energetic, unstoppable Product Marketing leader to join our team. This is a highly visible role where you will establish the go-to-market strategy for the Cobalt portfolio of products and services. You will build and lead a team responsible for owning and delivering compelling messaging and positioning, sales enablement, product launches, analyst relations, and much more. You thrive in a player/coach environment and inspire your own team and cross-functional teams to deliver their best work.  What You'll Do Conduct market research to gather data and insight about customer needs/challenges and the core capabilities of Cobalt. Be the expert on target buyers, market trends, and competitive offerings to enable others. Spend time with customers, listen, and apply your learnings to our product marketing strategy. Define, implement, and manage the overall product marketing strategy, including establishing or improving processes, tools and templates, and measuring results. Create compelling and differentiated messaging and positioning for the Cobalt platform and services. Partner with product management on packaging and pricing. Own launch planning and orchestrate cross-functional execution of product releases. Provide market and buyer insights to drive the development of campaign strategies including demand creation and reputation building. Proactively work with corporate marketing and demand gen teams as the Subject Matter Expert to create content for digital marketing campaigns, webinars, case studies, event presentations and thought leadership articles/blogs to drive pipeline. Collaborate with a sales enablement to produce a sales enablement plan. Enable sellers and coordinate the development of sales tools and training to support the full sales cycle. Monitor the performance of products and services in the market and understand the results of related sales and marketing efforts. Partner with product management, demand gen, sales and customer success to monitor solution profitability, growth rates, gaps to target, pipeline health and sales forecasts. Represent Cobalt as spokesperson to internal and external audiences at events, webcasts, customer meetings, analyst briefings, etc. Own and manage the analyst relations program. Manage, coach, and develop a team of product marketers. You Have You have 5-8 years of cybersecurity product marketing or product management experience.  Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred You are an inspirational product and solutions marketing leader with experience managing and growing high-performing teams. You stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in GTM strategies. You use data and insights to inform marketing plans, user narratives and programs that improve the customer experience leading to product awareness and adoption. Above all, you have the strategic experience and creative chops to help drive world class marketing. You are skilled in narrative storytelling and constructing compelling and engaging stories. You have outstanding written and oral communication skills, including executive presentations You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile development environment You have a track record of developing strong and proactive relationships with marketing, product managers and sales leaders to ensure your portfolio is well understood and represented You have a global perspective Diversity at Cobalt With over 45 nationalities already at Cobalt (and counting) we respect and celebrate diversity! The salary range for this role is $155,200 - $194,000 per year + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.  The salary range may differ in other states and may be impacted by proximity to major metropolitan cities.
