Firmware BIOS Engineering Program ManagerDescription -We are looking for a Firmware (BIOS/EC) Engineering Program Manager that applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.Responsibilities:Manages and leads one or multiple programs involving multiple functions to drive the firmware (BIOS/EC) engineering development and implementation process for a product or service offering.Develops and directs firmware development of schedules, associated deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned program.Manages and expands relationships with internal and external development partners on firmware design and development; ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.Communicates firmware development progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management and manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and quality activities in the firmware development process.We're looking for talents withBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.Typically 8+ years experience.Extensive BIOS/EC development experience.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.Experience in overall architecture of firmware and interaction with hardware/software/OS designs for products and solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong leadership to lead cross function team & external partner discussions.#LI-POSTHP is a Human Capital Partner – we commit to human capital development and adopting progressive workplace practices in Singapore.Job -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Singapore)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
