About the Role:
Airbase is doubling down on ABX, Account Base Experience, as one of the strategic initiatives for FY25. To support this critical initiative, we are looking for a Data Steward to join our growing Revenue Operations team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, RevOps, you will be a key business partner to the go-to-market team across Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Operations. You will work cross-functionally with the Go-To-Market (GTM) team, providing support, and ensuring required data is both available and accurate. We are running marketing and business development (SDR/BDR) motions on target market segments to generate pipeline.
Having quality data for accounts in certain vertical segments (like tech or construction) and personas in these accounts (accountants, controllers, procurement) is critical to running effective marketing and sales campaigns. The data steward will be responsible for building up and maintaining the customer and prospect database for the company. Bringing your attention to detail and eye for quality and a sense of urgency, your goal is to help ensure we can hit our sales targets as accurately & efficiently as possible.
What You’ll be Doing:
Data Collection and Review: Collect data from various sources such as ZoomInfo, Apollo, LinkedIn, job and company websites, and various other third-party sources. Review the data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Data Enrichment: Use the collected data to enrich the existing B2B database. This may involve adding missing information, standardizing data formats, and removing duplicates
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of the data by performing regular audits and validations
Documentation: Document data sources, the data dictionary, data transformation processes, and data quality issues. Maintain clear and organized documentation for future reference
Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and broader Go-to-Market teams to understand their data needs and priorities. Collaborate with other teams such as Data Analytics, Engineering, and Product to improve data processes and workflows
Will be a key contributor to defining data sets that support sales and marketing campaigns
About You:
Understand the strategic importance of great data sets
Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong sense of ownership around data being managed accurately
Advanced knowledge and working experience in Excel, Google Sheets, and other data manipulation tools
Proficient working knowledge of CRM tools, specifically Salesforce
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities
Experience generating and managing large data sets
A well-organized individual who is committed to detail and excellence
Self-starter and driven individual. Results-oriented
Willingness to work in a globally distributed company
Nice to Haves:
Experience with Hubspot
Experience with SQL or Snowflake
Experience with other modern prospecting tools like Clay, Apollo, Airtable, Clearbit, etc.
