Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Proven expertise in C/C++ development Experience delivering and supporting developer-facing libraries or frameworks Drive the full life cycle of feature development from quick-turn initial proof of concepts with out key clients all the way though to production-ready SDK visionOS, iOS, and/or macOS development experience Previous experience leading projects for a team of at least 5 engineers through the full life cycle of a product. Skilled in influencing others in technical or process issues to create significant changes across an organization. Description Description Apple’s Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking to hire a software engineering to architect and build forward looking application frameworks that will enable new use cases for Apple Vision Pro. You will iterate and work directly with clients to understand key functionality and drive the full life cycle of feature development from quick-turn initial proof of concepts through to production-ready SDK. Strong problem solving skills and effective communication are critical for success in this role. Education & Experience Education & Experience BS / MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience with at least 18 years of software development experience Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Bonus: Swift and/or Objective-C development Bonus: spatial computing, VR application or framework development experience Bonus: Prior experience working directly with developers to understand use cases and build tailored solutions. Bonus: Experience around architecting privacy protocols Bonus: Engineering management experience Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $230,500.00 and $346,300.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
