Location: Toronto, CanadaResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of engineers in the development and deployment of AI/ML solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, data science, data and cloud infrastructure to define and execute the AI/ML platform roadmapProvide sound technical guidance and drive crucial technology decisionsActively participate in coding, review processes, and problem-solving alongside your team Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies Drive the design and architecture of scalable, reliable, and efficient AI/ML systemsEnsure adherence to best practices in software development, code quality, and security standardsManage project timelines and resource allocation to deliver projects successfullyFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering teamActively participate in the hiring process to attract and onboard top-tier engineering talent, ensuring the team possesses the necessary skills and expertise to execute on the AI/ML platform visionMinimum QualificationsBS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML. (MS preferred) Minimum of 8 years of experience of software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management roleStrong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or GoHands-on experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions using cloud infrastructure using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learnDeep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and statistical techniques used in machine learningExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience building and managing large-scale distributed systems and microservices architectureFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformExperience with managed ML cloud services like AWS SageMaker or Azure Machine LearningPrior experience in building AI/ML platforms or products from inception to production deploymentKnowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as codeUnderstanding of MLOps principles and practices for effectively managing and automating machine learning workflows, including model versioning, monitoring, and deploymentStrong leadership skills with a proven track record of building and motivating high-performing engineering teams#LI-POSTLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
