Come make an impact on some of the most exciting and important products at the company!What you'll do PostgreSQL managementContribute to all aspects of planning, modeling, design, implementation, support, and performance optimization of data services.Develop tools to automate the deployment, administration and monitoring of data services using scripting, such as Python.Coordinate upgrades with the engineering and management and apply standard methodologies for minimizing impacts on service uptimes.Administer the database services, ensuring daily/weekly maintenance routines are successful, and optimizing application-level SQL queries.Oversee backups and audits to ensure that databases remain accessible, secure, and stableEnforce the highest levels of security and privacy are in placeWork closely and cooperatively with engineering, security, technical operations, product management, program management, and all other partners.Be available alongside your peers, off-hours, to support the production environment.What you need to succeed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics (or related field), or equivalent work experience.2+ years of programming experience with 1+ years of recent experience in modern languages and/or technology in use at Adobe Workfront.Demonstrate strength in writing code to automate infrastructure deployment, monitoring and data movement. Preferably Python and some sort of scripting language like Bash.Experience with various database technologies and engines, such as MongoDB, Postgres, or MySQL.Demonstrate strength in SQL for generating reports, tuning queries, cleansing data, refreshing lower lanes and validating data and processes.A strong DevOps approach with an emphasis on taking on the role of SME (subject matter expert)A passion for working with large data sets, complex problem solving and a drive to work with and motivate a team of highly-talented peers.Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure is a plus.Show that you are a person who, upon seeing a problem, moves quickly to solve it instead of waiting for permission and specific instructions from others.Adobe is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action employer.
