Position TitleBusiness Development Representative (Outbound – Retail)LocationVirtualOverview JDA Software is seeking a Business Development Representative (Outbound – Retail) to join our Sales team.Responsibilities Actively manage group of assigned Retail target accounts to create new opportunities and pipeline for JDA software solutions.Develop provocative messaging to then confidently communicate with various senior executives, seeking to challenge them to taking action to improve results/ generate value.Collect & analyze potential customer’s financial information, critical business processes and/or system needs.Collect & analyze supply chain, retail and specific industry trends, challenges and investment areas.Leverage expertise and add significant credibility by working closely with JDA industry and solutions principles to develop opportunities.Build relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts.Identify and qualify their project needs, budget, timelines, business issues and obstacles for hand off to the appropriate sales individual to win the business.Leverage skills to reach decision makers and market JDA product offerings via cold calling, LinkedIn, social media.Qualifications Minimum 3 years inside/outside sales w/ experience in enterprise software industryPersonable, outgoing, helpful, able to initiate conversation and communications in an engaging manner.Proven track record of exceptional opportunity generation results.Experience working in a team sales environment.Knowledge of SFA/CRM/Contact Manager software required; experience with Salesforce.com a plus.Retail or Supply Chain experience.Superior oral and written communication skills.Minimal travel required.*LI-CR1-------------------------------------------The salary range for this position is: USD $70,189.98 - $85,810.01The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
