We have turning points, customers, and competition.What you'll be doing:Drive cybersecurity activities throughout the product lifecycle including: concepts, analysis, requirements, architecture, verification and validation, documentation, and supporting audits/assessments to demonstrate the achieved degree of cybersecurity.Lead improvements to the processes, methodologies, and tools relevant to the overall security posture of the product.Collaborate with customer, system, safety, software, and assessment teams to craft products with outstanding overall reliability.What we need to see:BS/MS (or equivalent experience) in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering12+ overall years of experience in software design, development, analysis, and testing with 5+ years of experience delivering security-relevant systems/embedded software5+ years of Management experience & skill to manage the security team, and to collaborate with customers, and other subsystem teams to achieve the overall product goal..Broad & deep cybersecurity know-how across the SDLC including architecture & design, coding (particularly modern C++, Ada/Spark, or Rust), SAST/DAST (e.g., Coverity), verification (e.g., fuzz & pen-testing), scripting and tool-building, problem-solving, and debugging.Deep understanding of computational fundamentals, computer architecture, operating systems, and networks (e.g., algorithms, data structures, virtualization, scheduling, real-time, processes, threads, IPC, I/O, filesystems, virtual memory, DMA, sockets, etc.)Familiarity with a variety of software-relevant threats and hands-on experience with security controls (e.g., applied cryptography, DAC, MAC, ARM privilege levels, TEE, HSM, security co-processors, , etc.).Ways to stand out from the crowd:Proven track record in cybersecurity risk management and demonstrating conformance to automotive industry regulations and standards such as ISO 21434, UNECE R155, ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE.Expertise in model-based engineering (e.g., SysML) in relation to cybersecurity, as well as MS Threat Modeling Tool, STRIDE, HEAVENS, etc.Hands-on experience applying standards-based cybersecurity controls relevant to automotive technologies (e.g., SecOC, MACSEC, IPsec, TLS/DTLS, NIST SP800 series, etc.).The base salary range is 268,000 USD - 414,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
