Indirect MPS Opportunity Consultant North AmericaDescription -Job SummaryThe iMPS Opportunity Consultant will work closely with HP MPS Specialists, End User Sales, and HP Amplify Partners, in reviewing, configuring, and pricing A3/A4 MPS opportunities in the Component MPS, Page MPS, and Agent MPS route to markets for US and CAN customers. Heavy emphasis on deal qualification, pricing, review, and approval processes, and ongoing won deal management.• This role is responsible for collaborating extensively with pursuit and account teams to grasp local engagement and contract scopes, offering essential analysis, information, and recommendations. The role conducts comprehensive analysis of customer data, industry benchmarks, and internal win/loss trends to glean valuable insights. The role develops tailored simulations and solutions, ensures meticulous application of business controls, leads due diligence efforts, participates in reviews, and applies expert knowledge while fostering relationships and mentoring.Responsibilities• Collaborates closely with the pursuit and account teams to understand the scope of local engagements and contracts, thereby providing the essential analysis, information required and recommendations.• Conducts in-depth analysis of customer data as well as both industry and internal win/loss baselines to extract valuable insights.• Develops simulations and innovative solutions tailored to the engagement's requirements.• Acts as a Finance or Strategic Negotiator/Contracting Manager consultant for presales and account teams, offering valuable insights.• Ensures the application of appropriate business controls, encompassing order booking, labor tracking, and project cost management.• Leads opportunity consulting efforts in due diligence design and coordination.• Provides expert consultation and necessary documentation to support the SOAR process.• Participates in project/program reviews, meticulously validating project financial status.• Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, leads, and contributes to complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.• Develops and builds productive internal/external working relationships and may provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.Education & Experience Recommended• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in contracting practices, change management, outsourcing, managed services, or a related field.Knowledge & Skills• DART IPC• Eclipse / PriceHub• Strong MS Excel capabilities• Excellent business analytical skills• Business Process• Emerging TechnologiesCross-Org Skills• Effective Communication• Results Orientation• Learning Agility• Digital Fluency• Customer CentricityImpact & Scope• Impacts function and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.Complexity• Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.Disclaimer• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
