The Forecasting and Partner Compensation Team is looking for dynamic individual with strong technical skills, an analyst mindset, and solid business foundation to develop strategic forecasts and support business planning for Print as a Service, Life Cycle Services, and subscription business growth opportunities. The Forecasting and Partner Compensation Team is part of Subscriber Growth’s Insights and Analytics organization, and we are at the intersection of enabling today’s consumer services business management decisions and planning for the long term strategy. We collaborate with stakeholders in business management, product development, finance, data engineering, and analytics to build strategic business forecasts. Applies advanced forecasting knowledge to produce complex business plans and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of future market situations requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as a forecasting expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing improved methodologies. Exercises significant judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.Responsibilities: Leads complex data and business analyses to develop business plans and identifies recommendations and insights.Works independently to construct highly complex mathematical and assumption-based models to forecast business performance.Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance and develops the process for identifying and addressing forecast performance gaps.Manages complex, time- sensitive market simulations to determine input sensitivity and various scenarios outcomes.Works with cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning activities, such as budget setting, capacity projections, and quota target setting.Contributes to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.Partners with business leaders to develop business plans and proactively quantify new opportunities.Develops go-forward business plan forecasts based on potential risks and returns.Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.Education and Experience Required: Typically 6-10 years of work experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent.Bachelor's, Master's or PHD degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent.Knowledge and Skills: Extensive knowledge of forecasting methodology for key business issues.Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis.Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using advanced Excel skills, Access, statistical analysis, and forecast modeling.SQL experience desired.PowerBI experience desired.Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Very strong project management skills, including leading cross-functional initiatives.Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.Developed leadership skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and management.Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data.Job -MarketingSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Spain)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
