Clarivate is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join our top-class Cybersecurity team. This is a long-term opportunity to provide outstanding FISMA Compliance Support for our contract with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The ideal candidate will ensure that appropriate steps are taken to meet the security requirements for a FISMA moderate system. You will therefore bring deep expertise in implementing all 7 steps of the Risk Management Framework (RMF). As well, you will provide advisory and consulting support on security improvements for the system to Key Stakeholders, including System Owner, System Administrators, and ISSO. In this role, you will assist the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in assessing program security effectiveness and hardware and network systems’ compliance. You will actively participate in security mitigation efforts by managing POA&Ms or applying patches to servers to maintain the security posture of the system. Your responsibilities will also include developing artifacts to support security mitigation efforts. Additionally, you will help with security documentation update, prioritization methods, tools, and recommendations for future investments to fill identified performance gaps.
