Effective communication skills across all organizational levels are imperative, enabling the adept coaching of new Product Managers with patience, while also engaging confidently with executive sponsors. Responsibilities: Formulate and execute a comprehensive product management COE strategy and charter, emphasizing its consequential impact on organizational outcomes, and secure executive sponsorship for its endorsement. Develop and institute consistent metrics and dashboards to quantify the efficacy, productivity, and business influence of the product management teams. Collaborate with product management leaders to cultivate an exceptional product management team by devising tools to assess talent gaps and crafting career progression paths for product leaders to employ within their teams. Provide support to product management leaders through coaching sessions for product managers and teams, employing frameworks such as Jobs-to-be-Done, Objective and Key Results, user story mapping, prototyping, and product-market fit. Design and implement a training curriculum and certification programs aimed at enhancing the skills of product managers in strategic thinking, technical proficiency, data analysis, and leadership capabilities. Conduct training sessions on the product management lifecycle framework, underpinned by the creation of playbooks and standards throughout the entire product lifecycle: Ideate, Validate, Plan, Build, Launch, Grow, and Sunset. Establish an efficient data management tracking system to inform product management decisions, incorporating taxonomies, metadata standards, usage analytics, and robust product documentation, along with collaboration tools. Foster a vibrant community of practice among product managers through knowledge-sharing forums, workshops, and networking events. Advocate and disseminate best practices organization-wide to elevate the visibility and reputation of Product Management across the company. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management or related field, 12+ years in a Product Management capacity and 4+ years leading product management teams in a technology company or equivalent work experience (as applicable). Demonstrated expertise and passion for product management processes, frameworks, and tools Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership experience Data-informed, analytical approach with the ability to synthesize and communicate insights Excellent communication and influence across all levels of an organization.
