Job Summary:Company: Festival RepublicLocation: Farringdon, London in officeWorking hours: Full time, 40 hours per weekContract type: Fixed term contract May 2024 - September 2024Role DescriptionThis is an office-based admin role involving stock management of inventory. The successful applicant will work within a team of six, to keep track of the movement of stock, as well as additional admin duties to support the team. Full training on the specifics of the role will be given to the correct candidate however a proven ability to complete basic administrative tasks accurately and in a timely and accurate manner is essential.ResponsibilitiesHelp to coordinate the flow of stock in and out of the office, i.e. checking items when they come from the suppliers, repackaging and forwarding to the on-site offices, maintaining clear records of where things are at all times, being aware of when deliveries are arriving and when items are required at various events.Keeping and sharing accurate and up to date records of items issued to different departments.Carrying out post-show audits of items returned to the office.Ensuring that unused stock is archived / disposed of appropriately and making sure all records up kept up to date.Liaising with internal IT and facilities departments to coordinate the delivery of office equipment to and from festival sites.Booking the team’s travel to and from festivals, and logging receipts from all transactions accuratelyAdditional duties as required by business needs and objectives.Requirements, Skills / Knowledge / ExperienceGood working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Sheets and Outlook.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.Ability to understand and learn new technology and online systems.Excellent written communication skills.DesiredExperience in stock management.BehavioursThe following attributes determine how the role will be carried out and are required to be a success:You should have the ability to prioritise your workload whilst working to strict deadlines often under pressure.You must be punctual and reliable, with the willingness to work extended hours particularly during our peak period of May-August.You should be able to liaise and communicate clearly, competently, and politely with colleagues.Background checks may be required for successful candidates.Equal OpportunitiesWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
