The roles and responsibilities of the Coursera Finance team include accounting, financial reporting, analysis, planning, budgeting, and compliance. Problem solvers at heart, this team works to fuel Coursera’s growth by developing creative solutions in response to accounting and finance challenges.   Coursera is currently in search of a Travel and Expense (T&E) Analyst to join our expanding Finance division. The T&E Analyst will play a pivotal role in overseeing our day-to-day T&E operations, including expense policy management and data analysis and reporting. The preferred candidate should exhibit a keen eye for detail and possess excellent multitasking abilities.   Responsibilities: Manage and regularly update Travel and Expense (T&E) policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company standards and compliance Maintain our travel management platform, including ensuring accuracy of employee profiles and actively participating in system enhancements Support compliance efforts by conducting reporting and analysis on travel and expense data, identifying trends, monitoring departmental spend, and identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities Manage the corporate travel credit card program, including managing the reconciliation process, verifying statements against receipts and expense reports, resolving discrepancies, investigating unauthorized charges, missing receipts, or policy violations Conduct thorough reviews and audits of expense reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial accountability Provide guidance, training, and support to employees on expense reporting tools, policies, and best practices   Basic Qualifications: 1-3+ years of experience in travel and expense management and/or accounts payable Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with T&E software (e.g., Workday Expenses, AMEX GBT-Egencia). Strong analytical skills for analyzing data, identifying trends, and generating insights Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.   Preferred Qualifications: Flexibility in Working Hours - The candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic, global environment and be willing to adapt their schedule to accommodate meetings and collaboration with team members and stakeholders in different time zones.
