What You’ll Do
Support deployment of policies, procedures, and standards for Archer Quality Management that meet AS9100 and FAA requirements, including supplier control and production development.
Perform supplier quality reviews as required. Assist in the development of supplier scorecard criteria.
Utilize Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP/PPAP/AS9145), Six Sigma and Lean concepts to monitor key characteristics, drive performance and continuous improvement.
Participate in the set up of IT systems to support AS9100 process execution including but not limited to the following: supplier portal, Approved Supplier/Vendor List (ASL/AVL), dock to stock program, non-conforming material and Return to Vendor (RTV) process, Supplier Corrective Action Report (SCAR), supplier performance reporting, and receiving inspection plans and inspection results.

Archer is seeking a Manufacturing (DAR-F) for its Type Certification Project and Production Certificate at its San Jose manufacturing facility. The candidate will conduct inspections and other certifications to include issuing FAA Form 8130-3 for new parts, perform conformity inspections of parts, articles and at the product level, conduct test setup inspections and issue Special Airworthiness Certificates.
In order to be successful, the DAR-F must have authorization in the required functions and must continue to meet the general qualifications listed below, in addition to having the experience specified in FAA Order 8100.8 latest revision, as appropriate for the particular function for which authorization has been granted:

Have the ability to maintain the highest degree of objectivity while performing authorized functions on behalf of the FAA, consistent with FAA regulations, statutes, and safety goals, notwithstanding any influence to the contrary.

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
