This innovation is happening across our flagship products—AutoCAD, Revit, and Construction Cloud—and Forma, our new Industry Cloud.As a Senior Product Manager/Owner for the AEC Solutions group, you will lead the exploration and development of cutting-edge generative AI capabilities for the AEC industry cloud, Forma. You will work with AI Researchers, ML Engineers, and Software Developers. You will define system requirements, set milestones, and lead the exploration of how to apply the latest foundation models and other AI-driven technologies to the AEC domain.You will report to the Senior AI/ML Development Manager in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Solutions Team. You may manage a team of contractors in this role.Location: We support hybrid work, and you work near our Boston, Massachusetts or Toronto, Canada offices.ResponsibilitiesApply your understanding of AEC workflows and AEC data models to develop a comprehensive strategy for the exploration and development of AI systems for AECCollaborate with customers, partners, and internal Experience and Strategy teams to understand pain points and requirements. Translate these insights into target use cases and workflows that address customer needs and prioritize the team's workCommunicate system updates and strategy to partners, including executives and other company leadersWork with a diverse Research and Engineering team to explore AI algorithms, models, and technologies that can empower workflows in the AEC industry cloud, FormaTrack project progress and technical specifications ensuring they continue to be accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to teams across the companyBe an Agile Product Owner, maintain an organized backlog with the team, and conduct Scrum ceremoniesMinimum Qualifications5+ years of experience in software product management roles, with at least 2 years of experience managing commercially-available solutionsBachelor's degree in Architecture or a related fieldUnderstanding of generative AI and machine learning concepts and practicesExperience managing teams with a collaborative and empowering approachExperience engaging with customers, executives, and cross-organizational teamsExperience leading scrum and Agile development processes and methodologiesOther QualificationsFamiliarity with SVPG or other high-quality product management training programsDeep experience in AI technology and practices, with a focus on how to apply AI in commercialized professional productsPrevious professional work in Architecture or related fields, with a understanding of the AEC industry workflows and customer problemsHave a business degree.Ideal CandidateHas prior experience leading a product through initial research to a commercially available offeringUnderstands the AEC customer problem because of previous experience in the AEC industryPromotes scrum and know how to guide teams to achieve their goalsIs curious and passionate about solving complex problems in new domainsIs adaptable, customer-focused, and seek new ways to solve hard problems#LI-JK3Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $163,200 and $264,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
