You will follow-up on marketing leads and also call-out on a specific target account list to build qualified pipeline for our Japan sales team.In this role, you will work closely with the Japan sales team as well as the demand generation and field marketing team in region; this is a unique opportunity for an experienced B2B inside sales to continue building Proofpoint international presence and accelerate our growth.The candidate will be based in Tokyo, Japan. Occasional travel to the Sunnyvale, California US Corporate HQ as required.Your day to day: Throughout both inbound and outbound activities, ensure we meet our lead follow-up SLAs, meet our activity KPIs and ultimately over-achieve our objectives of qualified meetings for JapanGather actionable intelligence (competition, projects, purchase intent, etc.) for the list of accounts that you will be responsible forExecute cold-calling telephone-based campaigns to generate new sales prospectsStreamline, optimise and localise outreach sequences to be used in your prospection efforts in collaboration with the demand generation teamEnsure sales and marketing interlock, actively participate to quarterly regional sales meetings with the mid-market and enterprise teamsCollaborate with Demand Generation and Field Marketing to ensure you are supported with the right volume of Marketing Qualified Leads and Marketing Qualified ContactsDevelop cross-sell/up-sell as well as competitive take-out BDR programs to expend our footprint.
