The iCAM will act as an extension of the sales organization by leveraging the partner community and be based in our Draper, UT office. A successful candidate will possess a strong business acumen. Your day-to-day Will serve as a dedicated iCAM supporting the LATAM channel businessManage the deal registration approval/denial process for all partnersWork with our top partners at end of month and end of quarter to ensure order accuracy and ease of doing businessConduct proactive on-going training presentations with the PFPT LATAM sales team to ensure they understand how to engage with, how to build, and how to grow the PFPT business with the help of our channel partnersAssist with driving pipeline, sales qualification, and closing of business via LATAM partnersAssist the channel team by helping them meet and exceed the channel bookings revenue and quotas set for the organizationAssist sales with process to generate and provide quotes for LATAM partnersSupport follow-up process on PO status and booking deals for LATAM partnersSupport matchup of LATAM partners to Proofpoint salesWhat you bring to the teamLanguage fluency in both Spanish and PortugueseDeep understanding of the role of the channelEnjoys training/teaching othersCommands a presence in-front of an audienceIs well known and respected with peers in the Draper, Utah OfficeHas strong written and verbal communication skills, and can clearly and effectively articulate Proofpoint's value and the value of the channel internally at ProofpointHas the ability to work in a fast-moving environment, to prioritize effectively to think big picture, and to use good judgment in resolving difficult issuesExperience managing resellers and distributors, particularly in the information security and data archiving marketsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience1+ year of Channel Account Management experience with a proven track record of success alongside the channelWhy ProofpointAs a customer focused and driven-to-win organization with leading edge products, there are many exciting reasons to join the Proofpoint team.
