Summary:As a Senior Human Resources (HR) Shared Services Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the HR shared services function within the organization. Your role contributes to ensuring that HR processes and self-service resources are streamlined, efficient, and aligned with the innovative culture of Workiva. You will collaborate closely with HR teams, department leaders, and employees to share information, address inquiries, and drive continuous improvements that will enhance the overall employee experience.What You’ll Do:HR Process Management:Participate in the development, implementation, and enhancement of HR Shared Services processes and proceduresContinuously monitor and refine HR service delivery to align with the dynamic nature of WorkivaEnsure adherence to best practices, regulatory requirements, and company policies Employee Inquiry Management:Serve as a frontline point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR services, processes, policies, and procedures that span the entire HR body of knowledgeResolve complex issues and inquiries promptly and efficiently, reflecting our commitment to employee satisfaction and well-beingProvide proactive guidance to employees and managers, contributing to a culture of open communication and collaboration Technology and Systems Management:Drive the utilization and optimization of HR technology platforms, leveraging the latest tools and solutions to enhance efficiency and user experienceCollaborate with Information Technology (IT) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) teams to troubleshoot issues, implement system upgrades, and enhance functionalityFacilitate training sessions for employees and HR staff on system usage and updates​Metrics-Driven Insights:Respond to frequent ad-hoc reporting requestsUtilize data analytics to gain actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement in our HR operations Data Integrity and Confidentiality:Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of HR data and information systemsUphold robust data management practices, including data validation, security measures, and regular auditsGuide HR staff and stakeholders on data handling procedures and confidentiality protocols to maintain trust and compliance with privacy regulations Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standardsMitigate risks associated with HR processes and data management through proactive monitoring and adherence to security protocols Continuous Improvement:Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance service quality, and optimize resourcesSolicit feedback from stakeholders and leverage insights to implement enhancements and innovations What You’ll NeedMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field4 years experience in HR shared services, HR operations, as an HR Generalist, or a related function Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree or HR certification preferredDemonstrated proficiency in process management and employee servicesStrong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsIntermediary proficiency in HRIS platforms, service delivery models, and related technologiesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organizationStrong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive insights and decision-makingStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex and sensitive issues with discretion and professionalismAbility to thrive in a dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism Travel Requirement:Less than 10% Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:Reliable internet access for any period working remotely, not in a Workiva office.#LI-REMOTEHow You’ll Be Rewarded:Salary range in the US: $79,000.00 - $134,000.00A discretionary bonus typically paid annuallyRestricted Stock Units granted at time of hire401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
