CPU System Performance Architect

Do you want to help drive the development of CPU technology for system-on-chip (SOC) architectures used for datacenter, deep learning, high-performance computing, gaming, virtual reality, and autonomous vehicles? Come join the CPU performance and power architecture team and help us improve CPU interactions with other on-chip agents and build world-class SOCs!What you’ll be doing:Study real world software use-cases and identify critical application behavior together with other members of our CPU performance teamIdentify and analyze performance bottlenecks in CPU and system hardware and cooperate with CPU designers to improve our products.Develop tools and infrastructure to elevate our ability to analyze performance.What we need to see:BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience8+ years of relevant experienceExperience with CPU performance analysisKnowledge of system and CPU architectureSystem software and instruction set architecture (ISA) details knowledgeKnowledge of performance test development and benchmarking for CPU systemsStrong software programming skills in C/C++ and PythonWays to stand out from the crowd:Other programming and scripting languagesCPU design or modeling experienceExperience working with customers on CPU performance casesMachine learning experienceKnowledge of GPU compute and graphics APIsNVIDIA's GPUs and SOCs are world leaders in performance and efficiency and rely on CPU cores to efficiently orchestrate computer systems. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
