WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
We are looking for a Global DEI Program Manager within our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) team who can partner cross-functionally to deliver integrated solutions that support our mission to weave DEI into the fabric of all that we do at Box. As a trusted partner to the Head of Belonging, you will be responsible for programming and operations support focused on intentionally fostering a culture of belonging at Box. We are a small and nimble team, within the People & Communities org. As a DEI PM we expect you to bring pragmatic approaches that help Box translate DEI best practices into readily consumable resources, programs and initiatives aligned to business and community needs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Partner directly with the Head of Belonging (US) to advance Box’s DEI strategy and roadmap
Lead in the development of strategic DEI initiatives, programming and relevant workstreams in EMEA
Establish strong relationships with key stakeholder groups (Boxers, Leaders, People Partners, ERCs, etc) to fully understand their experience and needs
Work closely with cross - functional teams across Box to support the design and implementation of short-term and long-term DEI programs, including reviews and updates to policies and processes that impact Boxer experience
Collaborate with our Talent Team to weave DEI into recruiting processes and partnerships, talent and development processes, learning and growth experiences, and internal communications
Partner with our data and analytics team to analyze data related to diversity and inclusion, identifying trends and gaps to inform the success of current initiatives and the development of future DEI initiatives
Partner with Box leaders to define, develop, and drive DEI action plans within their organizations and across the company
Provide leadership support to Box’s Employee Resource Communities and DEI Councils in EMEA and APAC to champion their mission, amplify their voices, and deepen their impact
Conduct external benchmarking and apply industry benchmarks, research, and metrics to diagnose root cause issues and help determine “what good looks like” for Box
Develop and maintain project plans, lead communications, and proactively identify project risks and opportunities as well as determine alternative ways to achieve project/program goals
Foster accountability and transparency by regularly communicating progress and resulted related to DEI initiatives
WHO YOU ARE
4+ years of relevant work experience where you have honed the following:
Program Management: Program management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate in a fast-paced & performance-oriented environment
Curiosity: Able to distill data down to key insights that enable great decision-making
Discretion & Confidentiality: Ability to exercise discretion, judgment, tact, and poise in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
Empathy: Ability to listen and help others feel heard, understanding multiple points of views and being a vehicle for helping others understand and learn other views
Excellent communication skills that translate into a hybrid environment
Experience with developing and managing DEI programs and policies
Experience using various sources of people metrics to diagnose opportunity areas and measure results
Work experience as an HR Manager, HR Consultant or similar role is preferred
Being well-versed on diversity and inclusion best and next practices, trends, research, and insights will be an added value
