Job Requisition ID #24WD75461Position Overview The Solution Engineer (SE) will lead all technical aspects of our Autodesk sales campaign by supporting our partners and Internal Sales teams with direct engagement with our customers. You will use in-depth industry and software knowledge to uncover customer business issues and suggest improvements, thus earning status as a trusted advisor to the customer. You will partner with multiple internal sales teams, technical solutions executives(TechSE) and authorized partners teams to provide pre-sales technical assistance. This role is based in Bangkok, Thailand and will operate on a Hybrid work arrangement. Responsibilities You will become an expert in spreading the Value message and will assist customers to make the best decisions on the Autodesk solution to meet their needs.You will report to the Technical Sales Manager, and the Technical Sales Teams & communicate and connect customer business objectives with Autodesk Technology Offerings to Deliver Value MessagingYou will facilitate discovery workshops of varying sizes with our customers to help uncover business issues/drivers/initiatives and uses this information to connect Autodesk solutions to business outcome value.You will communicate product/workflow features and benefits in pre-sales situations. Present Autodesk products to prospective customers in the form of presentations. Presentations may be live, or via Web-delivery mechanisms. Also provide customer consultation, support and product presentations at industry-specific trade showsYou will ensure that datasets and related scripts are prepared correctly according to local region requirements.You will work with our Autodesk Authorized Partners. You will provide customer-facing presentations in the form of dealer seminars, and workshops. Work with Authorized Autodesk Partners technical staff to ensure they are proficient in Autodesk software tools. Partner with them to grow their presentation abilities.You will support local user group meetings. SE will become proactive in local, state and national industry-related user groups. Interaction should include presentations, panel discussions and product demonstrations. You will help educate the user groups to publicize the Autodesk message.You will work and Collaborate with our teams to help further communicate requirements for the local region.You will collaborate with broader team of TSE/SE/TSS members from across the APAC region. Minimum Qualifications Experience with infrastructure and government segment projectsFluent in Thai and EnglishAt least 5+ years of relevant industry experienceHave technical knowledge of using the following Civil 3D, Infraworks, AutoCAD, Revit, Advance Steel, Plant3D or NavisworksMust have experience leading building design software (i.e. AutoCAD, Revit, Advance Steel, Plant3D or Navisworks). Knowledge of any Building performance analysis software is desirable.Good understanding of BIM-based workflowsKnowledge of Autodesk Cloud solutions desirable.Must be willing to become an expert in the use of Revit, Advance Steel, Plant3D and NavisworksWork in a team of technical personnel, marketing/salespeople, and project managers.Expect to travel up to 50% of the time and enjoy working with diverse groups of people with widely variable technical skills.Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
