If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:The Major Deal Bid Manager will support complex deals across the breadth of the accounts (Enterprise, Corporate, Public and Private Sector). The role will provide project management, business insight and execution capability.As the commercial direction of Broadcom evolves, the approach used in major deals has evolved.  This pivotal role will combine the ability to combine complex commercial constructs with a formal governance approach to deal closing. This role will need to be agile and flexible within commercial constructs while upholding rigorous governance and control mechanisms.  A clear understanding of business value drivers is essential to help support the commerce executives in creating business cases.The Major Deal Bid Manager will ensure that complex deals are set up for success, effectively driven and provide expert insight and support to Enterprise Account Directors and Advisory, Enterprise Architect and Offer Management functions in the Cloud Transformation Office (CTO) Group.The role will report into APJ Team of the Cloud Transformation Office (CTO) Group.Primary Objectives: Ensure delivery of complex deals by ensuring key activities are driven to conclusion using a proven project methodologyTracking agreements made with other SABs to ensure decisions are documented, tracked, and driven to conclusionCreate and manage programme plan for major deal delivery including milestone, risk and issue trackingEarly identification and engagement of the Broadcom Team required to support Large Deals or RFXs Establish and embed customer business case templates to assist in the execution and promotion of complex dealsEstablish a governance & cadence aligned with Pricing Teams, Legal, Offer Management and other Broadcom supporting functions to accelerate delivery and execution.Where required, lead customer meetings with clear agendas, action plans and document agreed outcomesAlign to Account Directors on highly complex and or large deals ensuring all support required is delivered in a timely mannerMaintain weekly executive stakeholder comms planProvide Program and Bid Management support to the Cloud Transformation Office (CTO) Group focus accounts – Dream Bigger Program.History and ExperienceA minimum of 10-years of experience in technology delivery5+ years of experience in project managementMSP, PRINCE2, APM or equivalent project management certificationBusiness case creation and communication experience dealing with C suite executivesCore Competencies  Self-starter who takes initiative and works with limited direction, but acts as a real team player Highly trusted individual who maintains and expects high standards for self and team Solid business acumen which appropriately balances creativity, entrepreneurship and risk takingExcellent communicator, both written and oralStrong control mechanisms combined with open communication style to ensure issues are highlighted, communicated and resolved quicklyEducation/ExperienceBA/BSc degree or higher preferredMinimum of 10 years' experience in the technology industryBroadcom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.  We will consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, disability status, medical condition, pregnancy, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.  We will also consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records consistent with local law.If you are located outside USA, please be sure to fill out a home address as this will be used for future correspondence.
