This team thrives on moving fast , being flexible , and working with others to achieve results critical to our wider business success .    WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: We are currently seeking customer-oriented individuals who are passionate in dealing with people. Your key focus will be on delivering outstanding customer service to a variety of guests (staff, customers, contractors, and visitors) through the delivery of effective security.   Our Security Officer’s primary responsibilities are monitoring, response, and operational preparedness. You will be tasked with g reeting guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing a warm welcome upon arrival and ensuring the protection of our assets (premises, possessions, people and infrastructure) by maintaining a safe and secure environment. We are looking for an independent worker who can take initiative, make sound judgement calls and collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.   Your role as a security officer will operate on a rotating roster which will be structured as:    6 shifts on 4 days off   If you have experience in the security industry, that would be ideal! We’re happy to consider applicants who demonstrate professionalism and common sense that you are able to bring to the role. YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in a customer service and/or a security role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Have excellent personal presentation. Have excellent computer skills. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and react positively to multiple requests. Current NZ driver license held for 2 or more consecutive years. Flexibility to workdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.  THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE: Operational experience using Gallagher and Milestone. Experience assisting security incident management and investigations. Experience operating access control and CCTV systems preferred but not essential. Understanding of the Privacy Act 2020 and its applicability in security. Experience in conflict resolution and dealing with difficult people   If the above sounds like you apply now!
