MFGDM is the foundation of Manufacturing Cloud and the core Data Framework for Autodesk Cloud Flagship Product - Fusion 360. Our objective is to build manufacturing data model and cloud services to shift from traditional file to granular data and to enable concurrency, integration, automation and collaboration throughout the entire product lifecycle, making it possible to empower customers to design and make better products faster.The team we are growing in Canada will focus on building fundamental data extraction pipeline in MFGDM, defining the data model and building related services to extract valuable data assets and establish data centricity, hence enabling product team using the granulized data to fulfill critical customer workflows, building insights from the data, and releasing full values buried in files. The whole effort is an essential part for achieving corporate business strategy. The team will develop, deploy, maintain and support data extraction solutions & services. The team need collaborate with other MFGDM teams in Canada and with extended teams cross GEOs.Autodesk supports FLEX working model.Location: Toronto or Montreal, to co-locate with existing MFGDM teams.ResponsibilitiesYou will recruit, coach and develop an effective and team to deliver data services solution and/or features to internal consumers and external customersAccountable for business outcomes for the teams. Support each team member in their pursuit of career development paths and opportunitiesMinimum QualificationsBS/MS in engineering, computer science, or equivalent industry experience8+ years working experience in software industry with 3+ years in leading development teams or other similar leadership roles (managing team members from Junior engineers to Principal engineers, from Developers to QAs)Must have fundamentals in technology with Server side development, javascript (nodejs, lambda, or REST API) and AWS services.Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, principles, practices, and methodologiesProven experience working on a scrum team developing cloud services; understand services architecture, development, and testing; understand Agile and Scaled AgileHave insights about common engineering practice challenges and had experience of leading team to fix/improve them, e.g. automation framework, Feature Flag practice, CI/CDStrong conflict resolution skillsAbility to present to large audiences and lead group activitiesCapable of prioritizing and managing time and priorities simultaneouslyWillingness to collaborate with colleagues across different time zones which may require limited work outside normal working hours#LI-POSTLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
