We are passionate about enabling global readiness, translating and localizing content & products, and meeting our customer’s translations needs.We support the localization needs of all business functions, from product to marketing, from services to sales. We also have fun while we're at it!About the RoleOur Senior Director, Globalization and Localization will collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement a comprehensive globalization and localization strategy aligned with the company's objectives. Clearly communicate the vision, goals, and progress to the C-suite and other partners.You will drive a product-centric approach ensuring that internationalization and localization efforts are seamlessly coordinated into the product development lifecycle. Champion customer-centric design and continuous improvement to improve the experience across global markets.You are aware of the latest industry technology trends and emerging tools. You will continuously evaluate and implement innovative technologies and automation solutions to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and drive scalability.You will empower a distributed cross functional organization, champion an innovative and agile attitude. You will lead organizational transformation initiatives to cultivate a global approach within the company and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, eliminate silos, and promote efficiency across pillars.You will further develop and maintain strategic partnerships with external vendors and language service providers. Negotiate contracts, handle vendor relationships, and ensure the delivery of high-quality localization services within budget and timeline constraints.About YouBasic Qualifications:10+ years of experience leading teams while building diverse cross functional partnerships.Experience managing senior leaders.Other Qualifications:Knowledgeable in the areas of globalization, internationalization, and localization systems and processes.Have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to actively engage and influence partners at all levels of the organization.Possess a strong product mentality and ability to align localization efforts with overall product strategy and company goals.Stay up to date in the latest technology standards & trends regarding localization and globalization.Successfully led teams through transformation initiatives and handled change in a complex environment.Clearly define measurable outcomes to prioritize initiatives and handle incoming demand.Developed strong vendor & partner strategies and relationships.Experience leading distributed and matrixed teams aligned to core business needs.Expect and require innovation from your team. You are comfortable leading a diverse team of domain experts.Lead with passion and conviction and you encourage those same qualities in others.Excel in highly collaborative, creative, analytical, dynamic and data-driven environments.Workday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
