This group is responsible for the delivery of the core development programs (DRIVE OS) which forms the basis for all customer specific programs, the main development context for the generic Automotive development platform as well as new technology bring-up and development!We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, and isn’t afraid to roll-up theirs sleeves and get their hands dirty. You are a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal skills. You will support our software development teams, drive and track release & automotive safety milestones, handle software postings & communicate the plan across various Business Units!What you'll be doing:Drive and track software releases for new hardware and/or new software featuresImplement and maintain software ISO 26262 processes in support of Automotive Safety requirementsLead the software release cycle across multiple functional areas including software development, hardware integration, SQA, and product managementDefine releases, drive features and bug fixes, testing, and documentationImplement, deploy and support different tracking mechanisms for various Automotive SW Development metrics according to ISO 26262 and ASPICEManage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and qualityAssist in improving processes and procedures within the team. Help streamline day-to-day operationsRegularly communicate the program status and key issues to management and across the organizationWhat we need to see:8+ years of recent Program Management experience driving the planning and execution of automotive software engineering projectsBS/MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related fieldExperience with ASPICE as well as safety standards such as ISO 262626Good understanding of Automotive SW development metricsA love of organizing everything with serious attention to detail coupled with strong communication & technical presentation skillsExperience leading successful releases with the short release cadence in a dynamic environmentExperience in successfully leading global projects across multiple time zones and delivering complex products to customers on timeAble to think strategically and tactically and to build consensus to make programs successfulProven track record to think out of the box to resolve technical issues and resource conflictsStrength working independently and actively with minimal mentorshipWays to stand out from the crowd:Previous ASPICE assessment experience for MAN process areas or ISO 26262 assessment experiencePrevious experience as an Automotive software developer, having experienced the pressures and challenges, allowing for a more effective mentorship of the team in projects as well as processExperience with Jira and/or Jama, to the point of being comfortable to instruct an engineering team how to use and implement using these toolsDetailed understanding of SW engineering principles, knowledge of operating systems, embedded principles and standardsFamiliar with AGILE software development processesThe base salary range is 152,000 USD - 287,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
