We are now looking for a Senior Solutions Architect based in the greater Washington, DC area to help lead our technical approach with the Federal Government. Our Solution Architects are drawn from outstanding sales engineers and software developers and enjoy working with the latest in GPU hardware and software. At NVIDIA, you will be able to develop your knowledge of systems for high-performance computing across a range of applications from signal processing to geospatial analytics, human language technologies, and deep learning. A Solution Architect is the touch-point of technical expertise between NVIDIA and our partners and customers. The duties vary from building software for proof-of-concept demonstrations, to driving relationships with key executives, in order to promote accelerated computing. You will work with some of the most highly regarded organizations in the Federal ecosystem. Your work will bring the newest technology to help solve mission problems, contributing to the safety, security and economic capability of our country.What you'll be doing:We are looking for a Solutions Architect who is passionate about the design and deployment of GPU based HPC clusters for Deep Learning, high performance data analytics and signal processing. You will have the opportunity to learn about and improve on the workflows and operations of the Federal government's most meaningful AI and HPC challenges.Develop and demonstrate solutions based on NVIDIA’s pioneering ML/DL, data science software and hardware technologies to customers.Work directly with key customers to understand their technology and deliver the best solutions.Architect HPC deployments to include compute, networking and storage, with particular emphasis on improving GPU resource utilization.Help customers bring-up and test new GPU servers and clusters.Engage with customers and drive adoption of GPUs for HPC by presenting the value of GPUs in the data center.Understand the trade-offs in different solutions and develop the best architecture for maximizing throughput of large data streams.What we need to see:8+ years of experienceProven experience as a sales engineer / solutions architect in Public SectorExperience architecting HPC and/or software systems for Federal customersB.S. in computer science, IT or related field, or higher level of education or equivalent experience.Excellent Linux/Unix systems administration skills.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with an enthusiastic presentation style.Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day direction.Teamwork and social skills.Familiarity with GPU computing and CUDA programmingU.S. Citizenship is a requirement.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Hands-on experience with the installation and administration of HPC fabrics, storage solutions and file systems.The ability to hold a US DOD security clearance.Deep knowledge of the national security market and ecosystem.Published record of thought leadership in a technical area or industry segment.Outstanding skills in applied data science such as geospatial or cyber analytics, human language technologies or computer vision.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers!
