We’re seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our Core Booking Integrations team! This position will primarily involve working on core booking integrations and analysis in collaboration with our engineering teams. individual will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. We are targeting candidates with prior experience in the banking/financial industry, particularly in integrating bank core systems. The Senior Technical Business Analyst will direct the technical operations of a team of business analysts, providing guidance and expertise to ensure the successful delivery of Core Booking integration initiatives. Primary responsibility includes field mapping, data transformation, and process optimization, all while minimizing the need for coding. This role is based onsite at our headquarters in Wilmington, NC. Join our team! Responsibilities: Provide technical direction to a team of business analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and support. Strategize with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Analyze core banking Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and data structures to identify integration points and data exchange mechanisms. Develop a deep understanding of nCino’s solution capabilities to ensure effective alignment with diverse core banking systems. Design integration strategies that facilitate data synchronization, transaction processing, and information sharing across systems. Lead the process of field mapping and data transformation, translating data formats between different platforms without extensive coding. Document integration workflows, mapping rules, and transformation logic for future reference and knowledge sharing. Evaluate and provide feedback on integration tools, suggesting improvements and optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes, identifying and resolving data discrepancies, errors, and performance issues. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable field. 5+ years in software and/or Banking experience, specifically in the loan operations space or a combination of education, experience, leadership and team operational management skills. Strong understanding of banking processes, financial products, and core banking application architecture. Strong understanding of working with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), data formats (JSON, XML), and integration protocols (REST, SOAP). Experience in mapping data fields, defining transformation rules, and ensuring data consistency during integrations. Experience building configuration driven integrations that do not require a lot of custom coding. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex integration challenges and propose effective solutions. Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering accurate and reliable integration outcomes. Ability to lead and mentor other analysts and manage priorities. Problem-solving aptitude with the capacity to diagnose issues and implement timely solutions. Proficiency in using integration tools and platforms.
