Razer is also a great place to work, providing you the unique, gamer-centric #LifeAtRazer experience that will put you in an accelerated growth, both personally and professionally.Job Responsibilities :Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialised role.Maintaining and enhancing the performance of existing database programs.Design and implement database in accordance with user information needs and views.Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup database.Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.Provide proactive and reactive data management support.Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures and standards.Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner.Adhering to best practices in securely storing and archiving data.Reviewing database and user reports, as well as system information.Keeping abreast of developments and best practices in database engineering.Pre-Requisites :Proven working experience as a Database Administrator Or Database EngineerBS degree in a computer discipline or relevant certificationExcellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQLExpertise in database server specification, performance tuning, analysis and optimizationStrong Experience in database disaster recovery planning and recoveryAbility to work with database developers, engineers, and different operations and applications engineering teams to help them to identify, analyse, and resolve database performance issues.Experience with AWS/Azure desiredDemonstrated ability to solve complex database problems.Experience with MS SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB and/or Postgres desiredTeam-player, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applicationsProblem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party toolsFamiliarity with programming languages API, Python and etc Are you game?
