The People Operations Specialist supports our organization's People Operations team. This role involves assisting in the development and implementation of HR systems and processes, contributing to operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in developing, implementing, and optimizing HR systems, processes, and programs to support HR-related tasks.
Help ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Assist in managing HR compliance activities, including record-keeping, reporting, and auditing.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including managing paperwork and background checks.
Maintain employee files and HR databases, ensuring accurate and complete employee information.
Assist in managing employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Support the management of employee leave programs in alignment with relevant laws and regulations.
Execute HR processes efficiently, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
Contribute to managing the Total Rewards Strategy.
Support HR analytics and contribute to developing process improvements and program recommendations.
Collaborate with the People Operations team to execute projects and tasks.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Good understanding of HR laws and regulations.
Experience in assisting with HR compliance activities.
Familiarity with HR systems, processes, and program management.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic data analysis skills and ability to identify trends.
Effective project management and organizational skills.
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Google Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
Education and Experience:
2+ years of experience in HR or a related field.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
You may also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Salary Range $95,000 — $105,000 USD
