About the Role:
The Auto Specialist role is designed to help with the unique back office tasks required for the auto loan product. This includes acquiring all documents involved in the lien placement process and closely monitoring all steps to insure effective lien placement. The role requires problem solving skills, an eye for detail, and is for agents that are self driven. You will interact with banks to get lien releases, stay in close contact with our Collateral Management Vendor through the whole title perfection process, and work closely with other departments including Accounting.
What You'll Do:
Second Reviewing all Auto loans to ensure the loan is ready for approval pending the applicant sending in documents to our Collateral Management Vendor.
Tracking the mail to make sure all documents are received at our Collateral Management Vendor.
Following up with the Collateral Management Vendor to make sure SLA’s are met
Make sure that each loan meets the requirements for adding a lien per each state's DMV
Making follow-up calls with the applicant and/or bank to get lien releases
Logging notes in our servicing systems throughout the process until the title is perfected
Following up with customers and our Collateral Management Vendor to make sure titles are perfected within our designated SLA
This role is team focused, including team goals.
What We Look For :
Auto Loans review or experience in title/lien management on a national level is preferred
New Accounts loan review experience is required
Strong organizational skills
Must be a strong team player with the ability to communicate well
Advanced skills in Google Sheets is a plus
Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, partnership, and presentation skills
Adept at multitasking and time management to be able to prioritize your day
