The candidate should be able to deploy, configure, support and monitor all active network and systems equipment to ensure efficient operation.   Responsibilities:    Provide third level support and troubleshooting for our network and systems   Manage day-to-day support of servers, SaaS applications, networking, and IT Services   Assist with and lead project implementations, changes and improvements to environment   Assure a high level of reliability and performance through systems monitoring and infrastructure management   Analyze and recommend improvements to the existing environment   Keep up with relevant trends to optimize and enhance SmartBear environment   Recommend, implement and support enterprise hardware, systems, and/or tools   Ensure system availability; regularly patch, upgrade and perform backups for all systems   Maintain deployments & upgrades, Windows and Linux servers, as well as network infrastructure   Remediate vulnerabilities and maintain compliance with policies and procedures   Craft clear and concise documentation and knowledge base articles   Help to develop and maintain IT policies   Support, automate and provision systems and business applications   Coordinate with international IT Infrastructure teams to develop global solutions   Recommend, implement and support enterprise hardware, systems and tools   Assist in developing the overall performance and capability of internal support teams through mentoring and knowledge sharing   Domestic and/or International travel may be required.   Participate in an On-Call rotation   Competencies:     Team Player - Insuring team succeeds, with duties and projects. Commitment to making sure team members are informed on any developments related to projects.   Customer Focus – Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions    Drives Results – Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances   Directs Work – Providing direction and removing obstacles to get work done   Accountability – holding self and others accountable to meet commitments   Manages Complexity – Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems   Financial Acumen – Interpreting and applying an understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions   We are looking for someone who has (Qualifications):    Minimum 3+ years' experience in System Administration in a Corporate environment   Strong technical, analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills required.   Strong IT foundational knowledge and understanding of core network technologies required.   Ability to learn and willingness to take on more complex tasks   Experience deploying, maintaining, and optimizing a distributed server environment, including Windows and Linux server operating systems.   Experience working within a global enterprise environment supporting the business needs of multiple offices in different countries and regions.   Understanding of network technologies, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, routing, switching, wireless and firewall policies   Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365, Group Policy, DHCP and DNS   Working knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure platforms desired   Working knowledge Veeam desired   Scripting skills are a plus   This role is hybrid out of our Somerville, MA Headquarters.
