Job Requisition ID #24WD75741Position Overview EU data compliance has become an important topic for global companies, as new legislation emerges out of the EU. The EU Privacy Attorney will work with the data privacy legal team and the Data Protection Officer to implement initiatives necessary for demonstrating compliance with EU data transfer requirements and the GDPR. You will will develop strategies and initiatives to engage with important partners and raise awareness of data privacy compliance across the company. You will be based in Dublin, Ireland and you will report to the Senior EU Privacy Counsel in Dublin, Ireland. We offer employees flexible hybrid work arrangements. Responsibilities Research and track global privacy and security legislation, evolving regulations, enforcement with the view and translate into actionable guidanceProvide counsel on EU data privacy and security laws, regulations, and industry best practices, particularly related to software and cloud servicesProvide counsel on Autodesk's compliance with laws, regulations, customer, and vendor contractsProvide guidance to legal and product management teams on issues about all products/features throughout the entire development lifecycleDraft and negotiate data protection terms in contracts and disclosures, including Data Protection contracts, Privacy Statements, and Terms of ServiceRespond to communications from Autodesk's customers and employees regarding their individual rights, and Autodesk's processing of their personal dataHelp develop and maintain Autodesk's privacy program, and related policies, procedures, documentation, and communication materialsCollaborate with data governance and business teams to create records of processingHelp develop training materials and providing training to employees on privacy and security related obligations and further develop our privacy and data protection practices in the EU and globally Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of relevant work experience in data privacy, security and complianceExpertise in UK and EU data protection law, including an in-depth knowledge of the GDPR and national data protection lawsExpertise in advising on global compliance frameworksExperience with technology, cloud services, marketing and analytics laws and regulationExperience working with product teamsExcellent negotiation skills, with the ability and confidence to represent Autodesk in the area of data privacy and securityWork and lead under pressure, exhibiting timely decision-making, and with a sense of humor and balanceExceptional written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, able to quickly gain the respect of and interacting with and influencing senior leadersStrong work ethic, a self-starter, and accountableLaw degree and CIPP certifications #LI-MB1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
