Our team ensures that company has an accurate understanding of our cloud platform usage health and ensures we can understand our customers better. We work in close sync with our executive staff due to our direct impact on Autodesk Construction Solution business improving product, business, adoption, and sales operation by applying data science.. This project will focus on using data from many sources to create a method for ongoing analysis of Autodesk’s construction customers and prospects, and general industry trends in markets around the world.This will be a remote position.ResponsibilitiesYou will be an important member of the analytics Data Science team, working to understand the desires of our customers, measuring the impact of product changes, and communicating this information across the company.  You will:Conduct analyses on vast amounts of data to guarantee an accurate understanding of the current state of our construction businessApply statistical techniques to model customer behavior and trends to identify potential opportunities for growth and improvementBuild statistical models (both predictive and descriptive) for customer lifetime value modeling, retention modelingAutomate these results to ensure consistency and repeatability while expanding our ability to understand the platformCommunicate findings to executives and teams in Product, Engineering, Design, Finance and throughout the companyPrepare a summary presentation and report at the end of the internshipMinimum QualificationsFull-time student pursuing MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Statistics or other quantitative discipline at an accredited program in the United States with at least one academic term to completeProficient in Python and SQL skillsExperience gathering, sourcing, connecting, and interpreting different dataExperience implementing reporting programs like Domo, Looker, Tableau, PowerBIExperience in data visualization toolsExperience in customer analyticsExperience in text analyticsKnowledge of construction industry is a plusThe Ideal CandidateYou are someone who believes that data is the best tool to understand what is happeningAre eager to expand your skills to new tools, techniques, and systemsCan understand complex patterns and simplify them downHave experience managing complex projects from start to finishAre passionate about insights, not just dataCan summarize methodology and data into business and product strategy from your analysisAbout Autodesk Construction SolutionsAutodesk has reimagined the construction business for the digital age, helping companies address the most important challenges they face today while preparing for new ways of working in the future.
