Alternative Recovery Program ManagerDescription -This role will be responsible for dispositioning returned and obsolete HP products while maximizing the recovery value. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, understanding the risk vs. reward impact, operational processes, and a wide-ranging comprehension of HP’s product lines. Leads and/or provides expertise to cross-functional activities such as working with returns and re-manufacturing operations to yield maximum recovery. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Represents the HP Re-marketing organization and maintains close relationships with HP’s Alternative Recovery partners. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the B-stock and E&O market space.Responsibilities Executes and leads a broad range of complex sales activities and operations planning with the key objective of maximizing product resell price.Work with HP’s reverse logistic operations and HP engineers to resolve any issues that may arise, including functional quality and refurbishment standards while re-using as much material as possible to increase yields of returned products.Build and maintain trusting and mutually successful relationships with HP’s alternative recovery partners.Ensure E2E customer order management is timely and properly executed.Defines and reviews performance metrics regularly, identifying opportunities for improvement with exceptional follow-up and follow-through.Contributes to priority projects by adding creative insights and driving optimal recovery.Ensure HP brand protection and close supervision of HP’s Sustainable Impact and re-use standards.Education and Experience Required First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.5-8 years of experience with a focus on electronic hardware deployment/redeployment, IT asset disposition and/or recovery and recyclingKnowledge and Skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Excellent internal and external relationship management skills including conflict resolution management.Extensive knowledge and understanding of what drives the business and how to analyze using financial modeling, business analytics, and advanced Microsoft Office skills.Strong project management skills, with the capability to manage cross-functional teams in multiple geographies.Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within the area of responsibility.Very strong understanding of HP's overall reverse logistics strategies.Excellent understanding of developing and managing a trade compliance program and ability to align customs/trade functions with business objectives.Strong leadership skillsJob -Supply Chain & OperationsSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
