Product Requirements—Able to coach team and drive/own development/agile process. Able to document clear and measurable product requirements and make trade-off recommendations between implementation and functionality. Able to create detailed product specifications using written requirements, business rules, process flows and use cases; incorporates user experience generated deliverables such as prototypes, wireframes and design and copy documents. Able to review, comment, and vet product requirements and specifications to meet the spirit and intent of market requirements.Product Delivery—Manages the development and launch of new features and functionality through the entire product development life-cycle process from concept through implementation and release. Collaborates with design, content, engineering, QA, and operations to refine the product delivery process and deliver the highest level of quality. (For full product or significant product features). Customer Research—Creates overall strategy for collecting market and product data to drive the definition of the product roadmap, backlog, and priorities. Maintains regular contact with customers to stay current with needs and requirements. Drives internal program to track product analytics to inform priorities.Product Roadmap—Defines and owns the product, builds a long-term vision, establishes a strategic roadmap, and delivers the product to the market, assuring development efforts are aligned with BU strategy.Product Strategy—Owns and drives strategy across multiple product lines.Business Plan/Product Profitability—Able to construct and justify business plans. Owns top line for product lines and owns business plan for BU approval. Independently reviews and understands business plans to make proper roadmap and prioritization decisions.Programmatic Growth—Guides team in ownership of product profitability - developing strategy to drive growth programmatically in opportune or needed areas; positioning of new feature/function; and providing feedback into competitor feature/function. Market Requirements—Able to author market requirements/agile epics, bring them forward to grow product(s), and drive innovation across the Library Software Group and Clarivate portfolio.About the Team The discovery team consists of both product managers and product owners in a global setting. The Product Management leadership drives strategic growth, operational excellence, and market leadership of our library discovery solutions.
