Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Technology team at Clarivate. The role involves, dealing with existing backend large scale patent data production systems and the development of new data production system in native technologies.  You will get the chance to work in cross-cultural work environment. The existing team is based in UK and Germany in collaboration with India Colleagues. About You Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in software development.Should have good understanding of programming languages, Python or Java Should have experience in any of one the RDBMS (MySQL/SQL -Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL) Good understanding of RDBMS, XML Schema and DTD  It would be great if you also had . . .   Knowledge in AWS Environment Experience in Shell scripting and unix commands.Experience in developing applications that deal with large datasets.   What you will be doing in this role? Working closely with business analysts and other developers to deliver solutions based on requirements. Will be involved in the development of Content Ingest and Management System Programming of transformations and processing routines for text and image data.Mentoring and guiding the team through various phases of SDLC.About the team:The app dev production support team is a dedicated team of software engineers who ensure the smooth and continuous operation of legacy and new software applications and systems.
